Visit to the Ballet theatre (optionally circus) Day 4 - Breakfast. - Half-day tour to Glory Mound and Khatyn War Memorial, built on the site of the village burnt to ashes together with all its dwellers (75 children were among them) during World War II. The Memorial was constructed to commemorate all the villages of Belarus (there were 186 villages) shared the same fate. The eternal fire, burning among three silver birches, symbolizes this loss, the bells, the mournful voice of which is heard every minute, say to the mankind: ”Remember!” Glory Mound is a monument located on the top of the artificial hill. It was built in honor of the Soviet Army which liberated Belarus from the Nazi invaders in 1944. F. Skoryna published the first edition of the Bible in the Slavonic language, second in Europe. Lunch at a local restaurant. An organ concert at St. Sophia Cathedral. Visit to the Nunnery of the Savior St. Efrasinniya (established in the 1120th).
